IAAF Level 1 Course 2017 for 24 Athletic Coaches

The IAAF Level 1 coaching course was held at Gampaha Sri Bodhi Sports Complex from 6 to 17 March, 2017 with Ria Lumintuarso, the Director from Asian Athletics Regional Development Center at Jakarta, conducting the course. Assistant Coaches Prasanna Perera (Athletic coach Ministry of Sports) and Jayalal Rathnasooriya (Physical Education Teacher) assisted the course. This course full residential coaching course participant accommodated at Football Federation Training Center at Sri Bodhi Ground in Gampaha and coaches were housed at Wet Water Hotel in Gampaha.
Twenty four athletics coaches participated in this course. International Athletes Damayanthi Dharsha, Mahesh Perera, and many more International Athletes and coaches also followed this course. Two Sports Ministry coaches, two provincial council sports officers, physical Education Teachers, Army, Navy, Police STF coaches, and volunteers were among them.
