A delectable musical menu from SOSL

The Symphony Orchestra of Sri Lanka will present you with a veritable smorgasbord of musical bites that will leave you hungry for more. Or do you veer towards Broadway musicals? The snacks on offer are delightful— there are aperitifs from West Side Story, canapes from Wicked and crackers from Jesus Christ Superstar. Also, a delectable sorbet from Walt Disney’s Frozen, and a selection of scrumptious treats from the silver screen, such as Harry Potter, 007, Batman—The Dark Knight Rises, The Magnificent Seven and Chicago.
And for those die-hard fans of the land of Westeros, yes, they are playing the theme from Game of Thrones. It’s all happening on September 24 and 25 when the SOSL presents the ‘SOSL Pops’ at the Bishop’s College Auditorium, bringing you an auditory feast of your favourites, from pop to jazz, to film music.
Directed by Dushyanthi Perera, the SOSL POPS concert will feature Soundarie David Rodrigo as piano soloist, and the Soul Sounds Choir in a number of medleys from your favourite shows.
