A school holiday programme for special children
View(s):An innovative school holiday programme for Children with Special Needs will be held at St. Paul’s Church Hall Milagiriya on August 15, 16, and 17.
This programme designed by the founder of Active Minds, Suzanne Dissanayake is for children between the ages of 5-16 years and will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. It will be free of charge.
This programme will be facilitated by trained support workers who have experience working with these children. It is designed to provide challenging and stimulating opportunities for the children comprising art and craft, games, singing, music and dancing, drama, exercise, cookery, face painting, a magic show, fancy dress and many more.
