Regency Automobiles, no more agent for Jaguar cars

Regency Automobiles (Pvt) Ltd, the 20-year-old premium car service provider, announced that the company has ceased to be the official importer and dealer for Jaguar cars in Sri Lanka with effect from July 3. In a media release issued by the company, Regency Automobiles said it was parting ways with the British car brand due to the recent consolidation of Jaguar’s global parent company, JLR Ltd (Land Rover). It said: “The company owns and operates one of Sri Lanka’s finest steel and aluminum body repair facilities and has won the trust and confidence of customers over the last 20 years.” Regency Automobiles is part of the IWS Holdings Group, which also represents the sole importer and dealer for Porsche and Volvo cars and spare parts in Sri Lanka. The IWS Holdings Group manages a varied portfolio of industries across automobile, aviation, communication and IT, food processing and packaging, industrial,lLeisure, warehousing and logistics, and mass media.
