Though hair removal was more often than not part of the services offered by regular salons in both urban and rural areas, the lack of a personalised, hygienic and customer friendly specialised waxing salon was a void that many women felt. Enter Durga Kenny.

Her waxing salon “BeWaxed” launched four years ago has seen success with a large and loyal clientele and last week BeWaxed moved to a more spacious location at Kirimandala Mawatha, Colombo 5.

The opening ceremony was attended by Durga’s friends and family. The waxing salon will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on all days except Poya days.The official website for the salon www.bewaxed.lk was also launched.
