Politicians, fellow musicians and other well known faces in the Colombo scene were there to enjoy an evening of hits from the past and favourite Sinhala songs as the evergreen Clifford Richards presented his own show at the Bishop’s College auditorium recently. There were touching moments as he brought his two children daughter Jacintha and son Alvan on stage to sing with him.

It was a colourful show as Clifford had his band Kings as well as the Beat Drummers, Channa and Upuli’s troupe and the El Latino dancers joining him on stage as well as a former Miss Sri Lanka Stephanie Siriwardene who performed a powerful rendition of ‘Don’t Let Me Cross Over’
