Travel Trade SC opens their innings with Carrom
View(s):The Travel Trade Sports club will open their 2016 Sports Events Calendar with the 4th Carrom Championships, scheduled to be held on Saturday, April 30 at the Galadari Hotels’ ‘Tulip’ Private Dining Restaurant from 9.00 am onwards. TTSC has invited entries from its affiliated members and will close on Monday, April 25, with Ravi Wisidagama C/o Green Holiday Centre, 31′A’ WAD Ramanayake Mawatha Colombo 2.
In the previous tournament held on May 30, 2015 at the same venue, Ramada Colombo won the Men’s Team Championship, beating Sri Lankan Airlines, while Shereen Pitersz from George Steuarts Travels won the Women’s Singles and the Mt. Lavinia Hotel pair of Nimanthi Kodituwakku and L.D.Deshani won the Women’s doubles. - L.R.
