Lions Honour Past District Governors
View(s):The President and members of all nine Lions Clubs in Region 1 of District 306A2 met collectively to honour Past District Governors of the Region last week.
Among the Past District Governors so felicitated were:
Lion Fouzul Khalid, Lion Neil Seneviratne, Lion Ashroff Razak, Lion Paddy Withana, Lion Nimal Aluthge and Lion Duminda Munasinghe,
This meeting convened by the Region Chairman, Lion Farid Abdelcader was held under the distinguished patronage of the Lions Past International President, Lion Mahendra Amarasuriya PMJF who handed over Regional Appreciation Awards to recipients from the nine Clubs.
He also presented the Mahendra Amarasuriya Fellowship Award to the Region Chairman for dedicated humanitarian services.
The two Zone Chairmen, Lion Thushara Peiris and Lion Deva Jayamanie were also present at this well attended meeting.
