Applications calling for theatre workshop
View(s):Applications are now being called for the theatre workshop with the participation of international theatre artistes which has been organized in parallel to the 5th Colombo International Theatre Festival 2016.
The workshops from April 2 to 6 from 9.00am to 5.00pm will be held at the Indian Cultural Centre, Gregory’s Road, Colombo 08 and an administrative fee of Rs. 1000/- will be charged per day and the fee will include watching the days performance too.
The workshop includes themes like ‘Choreographic Drama’ conducted by Konstantin Purtseladze from Tbilisi Music and Drama State Theatre, Georgia, “My Writing for Children and Youth Theatre” by Ingeborg von Zadow (Germany) who is also the chief guest at CITF 2016, Script clinic by Vidyanidhee Vanarase, Secretary General, Indian Centre of International Theatre Institute, India, “How to improvise on stage” by Michael Deutsch, Figuren theatre, Germany, an Actors Workshop by Vivek Vijayakumaran – Bangalore, India, “Relocating the Mind: understanding the role of the body in acting “ by Dr. Saumya Liyanage and ‘Creating small society or agreements without using speech’ by Kakumoto Atsushi – Japan.
