Crossroads on Ice Bar
View(s):Popular band ‘Crossroads’ will be the main attraction at the ‘Ice Bar’ at the Excel World Snow Dome on 7th December 2015 starting at 7.00pm till the ice melts.
Fabion Bonnie founder of Crossroads said this will be something unique in Sri Lanka. The entire bar and the band stand will be created with ice and the interior too crafted from pure ice. ‘Crossroads will perform on ice’ Bonnie said.
‘Following on from our successful event back in 2013 at the Excel World Naughty Castle, we are ready to invite all our loyal fans and friends to experience something unique This December 7th will be the day of ice’ he said.
With ice, music will be from some of the hot selections of songs sung by Rod Stewart, John Parr, Europe, Journey, Aerosmith, Bryan Adams, Richard Marx, Bon Jovi, CCR, Eagles, Joe Cocker, Eric Clapton, James Brown, Charley Puth, Chris Brown, Adam Levine and One Republic.
‘The music range from 1960s to 2015 will be our repertoire, which is the epitome of choice catering for all manner of tastes and with an element of old dance hits that all the popular bands were performing’ Bonnie said.
The Ice Bar architect Raymond contributed to build the concept. In fact he was the former art designer for Hilton Colombo back in 1994 – 2000 and in Novatel Hotel in Baharain during the peroid of 2002/2004.
