Janaka Palapathwala, who made his return to the Sri Lankan music scene after a ten-year hiatus with “The Elvis Show” last year, will take the stage once again at Bishops College Auditorium with “The Jim Reeves Show” at 6 p.m.

Presented in partnership with the National Christian Council of Sri Lanka, proceeds from the show will go towards the council’s reconciliation programmes, including their current programme “Healing of Memories”, which focuses on helping people overcome the negative impacts of war and working together with Sri Lankans overseas to find a common vision that goes beyond ethnic and religious identities.

Janaka will perform hits such as ‘Welcome to my world’, ‘Blue side of lonesome’, ‘Bimbo’, ‘Mexican Joe’ and ‘He’ll have to go’. Music will be directed by Suresh Maliyadde and Naveen Fernando will conduct the orchestra, while back-up vocals will feature Choro Calibre.

Tickets priced at Rs. 5000 (VIP), 3000, 2000 and 1500 are available at Bishops College auditorium, Torana Liberty Plaza, Yamaha Music Centre and Ciocconut Lounge (Colombo 7), Sarasavi bookshop (Nugegoda) and other locations.
