Known as the pianist with the ‘Shearing touch’ ( a reference to the great jazz pianist George Shearing), Mehroon Wahab returns to perform ‘Pure Piano Moods’ today, Sunday, September 20 at the British School Auditorium at 7 p.m.

Her ‘solo’ show, in association with the Rotary Club of Colombo West is to raise funds for ‘Project Joy’ – aimed at equipping the Lady Ridgeway Children’s Hospital (LRCH) with Early-Detection Epilepsy Monitoring Units. Over 300,000 Sri Lankans who suffer from epilepsy. Sadly, an even lesser known fact is that the majority of them could now be leading normal lives had there been a possibility to detect this serious illness at an early stage in their life. The project aims to provide three monitoring units to the Lady Ridgeway Hospital so that children will be treated in time. So, be there, this evening to show that you care!

Tickets for ‘Pure Piano Moods’ charity show can be purchased at BARS restaurant or at the Venue.
