Chundikuli Girls’ College raising funds for new school building

Students of Chundikuli Girls’ College, Jaffna, together with renowned dancer and old girl, Subashini Pathmanathan, will present “Samarpana: A Bharatha Natya Recital” at the Ramakrishna Mission Hall in Wellawatte on Saturday, October 3.

Proceeds will go towards building a new school building, which has become a necessity with an increase in the number of students following the end of the war and the introduction of bilingual medium teaching to pre-primary and primary classes.

Tickets are priced at Rs. 5,000 (reserved), Rs. 2,000 (reserved), Rs. 1,000 and Rs. 500 are available at Rio Cream House, Marine drive, Wellawatte. The show begins at 6 p.m
