‘Day Out for Dads by Kiss FM
View(s):Following the tremendous success of mom’s day out, for Mothers Day, KISS FM Sri Lanka decided to do something big for Dads called ‘Dad’s Day Out’, which was an entire day dedicated to pampering and treating fathers of Sri Lanka.
This event was the first of its kind in all of Asia, which comes as no surprise if you are an avid listener of KISS FM Sri Lanka. The station inspires a generation of music lovers to seek freedom and find release in the entertainment KISS FM provides. KISS remains the only station in Sri Lanka to play new music everyday with a mix of everything relevant.
Dad’s day out was a huge success thanks to the creative minds at KISS. The 10 lucky dads selected for Dad’s day out started their all expense paid day out at a work shop at a leading fitness equipment outlet where they received vouchers and gifts; from there they were taken on an all expense paid shopping spree at a branded clothing store.
After the Dads shopped till they dropped, they were treated for brunch at a 5 star hotel in Colombo. After having a hearty meal, they were ready to compete each other at the pro karting competition organized by KISS exclusively for them. This was the highlight of the day as the Dads got to relive those glory days once again. To add to the excitement, the winning Dads were given exciting prizes.
Finally, after a long day out, the Dads were treated for cocktails and dinner at a 5 star restaurant. The day wouldn’t have been complete without the Audi A3 and A6 cars which drove the Dads to all the destinations. The chauffeur driven Dads met their families at the end of the day and left with memories intact and gratitude towards their families for nominating them.
