Ceylon Motor Show 2015 (CMS), the biggest event for the automobile franchise holders in Sri Lanka, will display globally known automotive brands, and a variety of new cars, SUVs, commercial vehicles and motor cycles, as well as classic cars when it opens on May 8-10 at the BMICH in Colombo.

The Ceylon Motor Trader’s Association (CMTA) is collaborating with the Classic Car Club of Ceylon to present an array of motor cars from vintage versions to the sleek lines of today’s modern automobiles. “Whilst, the Classic Car Club of Ceylon will exhibit approximately 180 historic classic motor vehicles in their pristine beauty, the members of the association, holders of the franchise for all modern cars marketed in Sri Lanka, will present the latest as well as the most popular models available for purchase in our country,” one of the organisers of the grand show told the Business Times.

It will range from petrol vehicles to diesel vehicles to hybrids and electric vehicles, cars, buses, double cabs, commercial vehicles, motor cycles etc, they added.

Among the popular automotive brands that will be showcased at the exhibition are Mercedes, BMW, Volvo, Toyota, Nissan, ISUZU, Suzuki, Mitsubishi, Mazda, Peugeot, Tata, Land Rover, Honda, Daihatsu, Micro and Proton.

In addition to the latest car models, Motor Show 2015 will also feature Yamaha, Bajaj, Hero Honda and TVS motorbikes, and tractors.
