The Rotary Club of Battaramulla celebrated Rotary Day by taking the message of green living to the community. The club selected the Good Market at Diyatha Uyana for this project, donating 200 indigenous plants to members of the local community who visited the Rotary stall. Included in the bonanza were plants such as Na, mango, Jak and Neli.

Several visitors and children including other stall presenters were happy recipients of these plants. Members of the Rotary Club of Battaramulla and their family members explained the activities carried out by the club and also spread the message of green living to the public.

The Rotary Club of Battaramulla could be reached by emailing president@rotabats.com.
