Well-known assistant director Donald Jayantha has completed 30 years in cinema and has assisted over 50 films.

With the extensive experience with Sri Lankan cinema industry, Donald also became a director by directing ‘Pravegaya’ produced by R. Sadesh Kumar and Srimathi Sadesh Kumar.

There are seven more new films assisted by Donald is to be released in the year 2015 while he has taken up five films to work in the new year. Donald is a student of Motapola National School in Matara.
