Thusyanthan and Sinthuya of Jaffna Most Outstanding TT players
View(s):I. Thusyanthan of Anaicoddai RCTMS, Jaffna and S. Sinthuya of Union College, Jaffna won the coveted P.W. Pestonjee Trophies for being adjudged the Most Outstanding Players in the Men’s and Women’s categories at the Asian /German Sports Exchange Programme organised All Island (unranked) Table Tennis Championship 2014 concluded at the Central College, Jaffna tables last week-end.
I. Thusyanthan of Anaicoddai RCTMS, Jaffna
Jaffna Union College’s S. Sinthuya exhibited her prowess winning the Women’s Singles, under 21 and under 18 singles finals while L. Thusyanthan fought all the way to win the Boy’s under 15 finals defeating school-mate J. Jesikaran and finished runner-up in the Men’s singles and Under 18 events.
Chief Guest Mrs. N. Santhira Kumar, Principal of Anaicoddai RCTMS Jaffna gave away the trophies to the winners.
