If sharing prevailed on Earth, we could see Jesus among us

We all know that Jesus was born on December 25. Why was the Lord born? Mainly to spread peace. So that’s why we should share peace and harmony with others; not only at Christmas, but in other seasons too. Remember Jesus sacrificed himself on the cross because he loved all of us.

Jesus’ birth was so unique to the whole mankind. That’s why when shepherds visited the cattle shed at Jesus’ birth they realized the true spirit of peace and the difference between good and bad. God sent his only son for the salvation of mankind. That was because he loved all of us.

In the year 2014, once again we are celebrating Christmas. Our hearts are full of warm and tender feelings for our fellow men. Just turn around and you will spot many needy people begging, starving and dying of poverty. They are less in fortune and wealth. But remember that God shared his power with all of us and they too are children of God.

Remember the catastrophe that happened a few weeks ago. How many people lost their lives and how many of their hopes were buried in the mass destruction. Recall the war in our country three decades ago. Did we share experiences, love and affection and peace with them?

If sharing touched the four corners of the Earth, we could see Jesus standing on top, driving away the darkness. Remember Christmas can be more meaningful by sharing and caring. If Christmas is really to be celebrated we should allow peace and sharing to prevail on Earth.
