Based on a road trip set in Goa and follows the journey of five dysfunctional friends who set out on a road trip in search of Fanny, the love-interest of Naseeruddin Shah, ‘Finding Fanny’ the English/Hindi comedy film is now being screened at Majestic Cineplex Colombo.

Directed and written by Homi Adajania and produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films the film stars Naseeruddin Shah, Dimple Kapadia, Pankaj Kapur, Deepika Padukone and Arjun Kapoor in prominent roles.

Five Goans set off on a road trip in search of an old postman’s childhood love, Stefanie “Fanny” Fernandes, though nobody knows whether she’s alive or dead or just a figment of someone’s imagination. However, the friends get lost, and the journey – originally intended to take 20 minutes – instead takes one and a half days.
Released on September 1, ‘Finding Fanny’ has been selected to be screened at the 19th Busan International Film Festival in October, 2014.
