A station master at South Payagala was yesterday taken into custody for possessing a firearm, police said. Railway General Manager B.A.P. Ariyaratne said police raided the station master’s office and found a locally manufactured galkatas in a drawer. He said the station master was suspended while Police investigations were ongoing.
