CWW Kannangara MMV outclass Ananda
View(s):CWW Kannangara MV outclassed Ananda by 35 points to 17 in a Singer U20 Plate Championship rugby encounter played at the Sugathadasa Stadium yesterday.
CWW Kannangara MMV was too good for the Anandians as they secured a 14-9 lead at the breather and made up their points through five goals as against a try and four penalties scored by Ananda.
For the winners fly half Dinesh Lakmal scored two tries while center Chamath Perera, second row Malaka Madushan and full back Lahiru Herath scoring one each with Lakmal making three conversions and Madushan two.
Ananda scoring was done by L. Madusanka who went over for the try and V. Pushpakumara booting over the four penalties.
