The corporate arm of locally dominant celco Dialog recently signalled that, over the next few years, its key focus areas would include projects such as a new submarine cable system for Sri Lanka, a new tier-3 level IDC (Internet Data Centre) infrastructure facility, and expanding its fibre optics as well as its 3G and 4G coverage.

These revelations were made as a part of a statement by Dialog Enterprise wherein it highlighted a recently concluded forum held by the celco in Negombo wherein it showcased its latest communications solution for the apparel and manufacturing sectors.

Additionally noted; “Held with the participation of top professionals including CEOs, Managing Directors and Heads of Departments from leading corporates in the Apparel and Manufacturing sectors, the Dialog Enterprise corporate forum held under the theme ‘Optimising Resource Utilisation’ focused on highlighting Dialog Enterprise’s latest pursuits in providing cutting-edge solutions to evolving demands in the Apparel and Manufacturing sectors”.

Quoted in the statement, Dialog Enterprise Group Chief Officer Jeremy Huxtable stated; “Communication and connectivity demands from Sri Lankan businesses are ever-increasing as most of them are catering to highly-competitive international markets. In such context, smooth communication and connectivity are extremely important to stand well ahead of competition”.
