My school holiday

We went to Uncle’s house by jeep. From there we went by his van to the airport. At 1.30 a.m., we flew by
Sri Lankan Airlines to Bangalore.
Our host waited outside the
airport. We went to the hotel by his car. We had a small rest and visited several important places; Bangalore Museum, Cubborn Park, Bangalore Palace, Stone Cow Temple and Tippusultan Palace.
The following day we started our journey to Mysore. We saw the beautiful Brindawan Garden and a big dam. We spent more time in that garden. Then we went to the marvellous Mysore Palace, which was very attractive. We took many photographs and we had an elephant ride.
We followed up with our trip to Ooty which was very beautiful.
We stayed at Hotel Deccan Park.
The next morning, we had a boat ride in Ooty Lake. I enjoyed the boat ride and went to the Rose Garden, which was filled with beautiful roses, View Point, Shooting Point, Chocolate Museum and Wax Museum, where you can see the wax statues of the important people of India.
Our next journey was to Chennai. The next morning we had our city tour in Chennai. We saw the Marina Beach, Anna University, Snake Park, Children’s Park and went shopping. The next evening we said goodbye to India and came back to Sri Lanka.
It was the best trip I ever enjoyed.
