Goodbye 2013 and Hello 2014
View(s):The year 2013 was an eventful and memorable year. Many occasions, affairs and celebrations occurred in the year 2013 and for sure they will be recorded in
history. Events such as the birth of the Royal Baby of Prince William, the resignation of Pope Benedict XVI, the death of South Africa’s first black president Nelson Mandela.
Furthermore last year marked an epoch in the history of Sri Lanka as Sri Lanka was proud to host the CHOGM 2013 and proudly welcomed Charles, the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall. Besides this, the Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport was represented as one of the largest airports in Sri Lanka.
Finally the year 2013 did a good job and it deserves a salute of excellence for all its effort. So let us hope that the year 2014 will bring more goodness and success to all. Happy New Year!
