Trip to Trincomalee

View(s):

This was my first visit to Trincomalee. We went in our own car on Friday morning. It took about five hours to reach the main town. Because of the newly carpeted roads it was very comfortable to travel. The sea beach was behind our hotel and it was very picturesque. We went to the beach and played with the sea sand.
Fort Frederick which was built by the Portuguese and later captured by the Dutch, was almost in front of our hands.

The first place to visit was Thirukoneshwaran temple. After that we visited Nilaweli, Marble Beach,hot water wells etc. There were seven hot water wells. Marble Beach was a really nice place because of the dark blue sea water. The sea also was beautiful due to the pebbles like stones that are found.
The climate was very hot. Most of the people in Trincomalee were using bicycles for their transportation. Even though the climate is hot it was a nice trip.
