FFSL receives over 400 applications for referees

The Referees’ Department of the Football Federation of Sri Lanka has received over 400 applications for its examination which will be conducted in three stages.
The three stages have been scheduled to take place in Colombo, Vavuniya and Nawalapitiya. According to the FFSL applicants will have to pass a physical examination to qualify for the written examination.
The physical examination for the Colombo stage was conducted on December 21 with 135 applicants taking part. The Vavuniya stage was conducted yesterday while the Nawalapitiya round will be held on January 25 at the Jayatilleke Stadium.
