The grand final of the Yusoof Cup Division II knockout football championship will be played between Victory Football Club and Colombo Veterans at the City Football Complex ground in Colombo with the kickoff time set at 3.30pm.

Both semi-final games that were won by Victory FC and Colombo Veterans respectively were decided by penalties. In the first semi-final Colombo Veterans beat New Eleven Young Stars by 5-3 while Victory FC stalled Badowita United’s progress with a 5-4 win.
In the quarter-finals Victory FC beat Sunny Mount (3-2), Colombo Veterans beat Old Peterites (4-3) on penalties, New Eleven Young Stars beat Old Wesleyites (1-0) and Badowita United beat Vikings (5-4) on penalties. Other teams to get expelled from the pre-quarterfinal stage were Rudra SC, Java Lane, Soccer Fans, Slave Island United, Ratnam, Eveready, Aluthkade United and Maligawatte Youth.

The tournament is organised under the patronage of Saif Yusoof, a zealous individual dedicated to the development of football with the organising assistance of City Football League in Colombo.
