Earl’s Regency Hotel, Kandy launched its new wing of 30 rooms and the Royal Spice North Indian Restaurant recently. Minister Basil Rajapaksa graced the occasion as chief guest.

Earl’s Regency is currently functioning as a five star luxury hotel owned by Sumiko Lanka Hotels (Pvt) Ltd, managed by Aitken Spence Hotel Managements.

The additional 18 luxury rooms and 12 suites are expected to cater to the accelerating tourist arrivals to the hill capital. Earl’s Regency now prides itself with the largest accommodation capacity in Kandy, with a total of 134 rooms.

The hotel’s management was delighted to re-introduce the Royal Spice Indian restaurant specialising in North Indian cuisine. The restaurant has been in operation over the last few months, and was officially launched along with the new wing at Earl’s Regency Hotel.
