Success for Ladies’ College MUN team

The Ladies’ College team that took part in the Nottingham University Model United Nations conference held in Malaysia from June 14-16 emerged with remarkable success.

The conference was held simulating three committees- UNHRC, UNEP and ASEAN. Awahee Mendis was picked as the Best Delegate in the UNEP, Anika Ahamed received honorary mention in the UNHCR Committee and Thevuni Halangoda was awarded a higher commendation in ASEAN. Awahee Mendis and Tashya Forbes also received the award for best delegation.
