Sajidah Samsudeen of Ilma International School excelled in athletic track events at the annual school sportsmeet held recently.

Samadhi Neththikumara a Grade Nine student of Vijaya College, Matale won 1st Place in the annual Central Province Schools Competition on Drug Prevenion Creations conducted by the Drug Prevention Unit of the Ministry of Education.

Natalie De Silva, a student of St. Mary’s Convent, Matara won the Challenge Trophy and Gold Medal for Speech and Drama 2012 at the prizegiving of the Wendy Whatmore Academy.

12 year old Randev Athukorala of St Peters College won Gold at the Japan Shotokan Karate Championships recently and has been selected to represent Sri Lanka at the Malaysian Schools Karate Championships to be staged in Kuala Lampur.
