Ag- Biz North exhibition in Kilinochchi next month
View(s):The third northern agricultural exposure fair, “Ag Biz North” will be held on July 26-27 at the Central College Grounds, Kilinochchi
The launch of this event was held this week in Colombo. The exhibition is organized by the National Agribusiness Council and supported by USAID-funded Practical Action. The event is endorsed by the Ministry of Agriculture.
A large number of agricultural products; inputs, new technologies and services will be showcased at this event, a media release from the organisers said.
“The Ag Biz North exhibition will bring modern agriculture technologies towards the farmers of the North and create a platform to meet all stakeholders of the agribusiness chain under one roof. Ag Biz North is an opportunity that should not be missed by any agricultural stakeholder in the country,” it said.
At Ag-Biz North, there will be more than 60 stalls consisting of all the inputs needed for agriculture and fisheries sector such as seeds, agrochemicals and fertilizer, agricultural machinery and implements, solar pumps, irrigation systems, tissue culture, fisheries and financial institutions.
