Featured regularly on Gold FM, Isla Grant who has won the hearts of audiences with the purity and warmth of her music with songs such as Sweet Baby Mine, A Single Yellow Rose, Cottage In The Country, Falling In Love With You, and duets with Al Grant like Darling When You’re Hurting and I’ll Be Faithful To You – to name a few that have captured the hearts of the numerous listeners in Sri Lanka.
The Scottish country singer /songwriter, whose popularity extends from the United Kingdom and Ireland to New Zealand and Australia, was born in Wigtownshire, Scotland. Growing up in a musical family the talented artist was greatly influenced by the folk music in the region and soon took an interest in American country music.
In time, Grant found international success as a Scottish country singer, releasing numerous albums, generally one or more per year.
