Four films of Geetha on DVD
View(s):Yesteryear cinema star Geetha Kumarasinghe recently released four of her film productions in the DVD format.

The four film included award winning cinematic productions of Geetha like ‘Palama Yata’ and ‘Loku Duwa’ and popular films like ‘Anuragaye Ananthaya’ and ‘Salambak Handai’. Besides playing the role of producer Geetha also played the main role in all four movies.
The film ‘Loku Duwa’ directed by Sumitra even reached international heights making its way to Cannes Film Festival. However the film could not be taken to France.
Kumar Liyanagama produced this DVD pack which is priced at Rs. 1000. All proceeds generated from this DVD sale is to be utilised for the welfare of children, mothers and schools in th Galle District.
