graphic design are now being exhibited at the Raffles Gallery, No.481 Galle Road, Colombo 3 – as part of the ‘Open House’ event that was held on the 24th November 2012 at Raffles Institute of Higher Education.

As the title suggests – ‘Imagine’ is what we constantly encourage our students to do in all areas of design at Raffles. The work exhibited reflects examples of design, where students have pushed boundaries in their creative fields, to express innovation and professionalism at all levels.

Open House was packed with fun-filled activities and workshops for participants. They immersed themselves in the wide range of design workshops. Among the visitors, included designers and business contacts from companies such as Grant McCann Erickson and Art of Living who enjoyed the day and interacted with Raffles staff to learn more about the college’s activities.

A “Certificate of Participation” was awarded to those students who had attended workshops in Fashion Design, Interior Design, Multimedia Design and Jewellery Design, so they were able to take home a memento of the Open House and show all of their friends what they had been lucky enough to experience at Raffles!
