Namel Weeramuni’s “Madyawediyakuge Asipatha”, an original play that was born out of a six months workshop goes on the boards on November 17 at 6.45 p.m. at the Namel Malini Punchi Theatre. It has been hailed by critics as “a must be seen play” and “a rare and rich experience” because of its novel production approach, strong acting and concentrated subject matter.

Written, directed and produced by Namel Weeramuni, the play stars Lalindra Dissanayake, Anil.K.Wijesinghe Dulanjali Wijesena, Namel Weeramuni, Upul Sanjeewa, Senevirathne Bandara, Pinsara Samarasekera, Ishara Wickramasinghe, Darsana Obeysekera, Lakshman Udaya Kumara, Dilini Prasadini, Turulika Gimhani, Damith Wilegoda, Buddhika Prematilaka, Sangeeth Perera and Jayashan Rajitha.
