Moragasmulla USC unbeaten with three wins
View(s):Moragasmulla United Sports Club with three consecutive wins is the only unbeaten team in the final round of the Colombo Football League Division Two 2011/2012 tournament to date. They defeated M.H. Mohamed Play Ground 3-0, Old Wesleyites 3-0 and Badaowaita USC 4-0.
Thirty five teams participated in the preliminary round of the tournament and were divided into five groups which played a total of 80 matches. The following teams – Colombo Veterans, Moragasmulla USC, Old Wesleyites SC, Badowita USC and M, H, Mohamed Playground ended as champions of their respective groups and qualified to play in the final round.
All matches were played at the M.H. Mohamed Playground. Other results: Colombo Veterans SC beat M.H. Mohamed Playground 2-1. Old Wesleyites SC beat M.H. Mohamed PG 2-0. Badaowita SC beat M.H. Mohamed PG 1-0. Old Wesleyites SC beat Badaowita SC 1-0. (BM)
