Gentlemen prefer blondes!

By Iona Kirby

Since entering the spotlight, she has become something of a blonde bombshell in her own right. So Courtney Stodden decided to channel her predecessor Marilyn Monroe in her latest photo shoot.
The 17-year-old wife of Doug Hutchison, 51, went all out as she struck a series of seductive stances against a sunny Los Angeles backdrop.

Monroe's famous scene in The Seven Year Itch Blonde ambition: Courtney Stodden unleashed her inner Marilyn Monroe for her latest photo shoot

Just like Marilyn, Courtney had the halterneck number's full skirt blowing around her as she posed provocatively for the cameras. But while the film star struggled to keep her skirt from blowing up over a subway grate, Courtney had the help of a wind machine to re-enact the movie scene.

She once told Radar Online: 'I love Marilyn Monroe. My shoes and hands were a perfect fit.' The excited star added: 'This was so much fun. Marilyn is an idol of mine.'

She was 16-years-old when she wed Green Mile actor Doug Hutchison in Las Vegas on May 20, 2011.

Courtney had to receive a consent form from her parents to go through with the marriage, as the state of Nevada declares both marriage applicants must be of at least 18 years of age.
