A Tribute to C.T Fernando

Introducing the latest Golden Oldies by Maharaja Entertainment, Golden Oldies Volume 11, A Tribute to C.T Fernando. This 11th album in the Golden Oldies Series contains some of the best singles released by the great C.T Fernando, sung by his son Priyantha Fernando. C.T Fernando who entered the Sinhalese music industry in the 1940’s branched out as a commercial artiste in 1952 and produced many great hits which up to date are considered some of the best songs produced by any Sri Lankan artiste.

The album, titled ‘Maa Baala Kale’ includes some of the great artistes biggest singles such as, ‘Ane Dingak Innako’, ‘Barabage’ and ‘Sihini Lowe’.Priyantha Fernando, his son, has taken on the task of recording his fathers greatest hits and has managed to do justice to the immense selection of songs.

Golden Oldies Volume 11, A Tribute to C.T Fernando is now available at Vibrations Union Place, Vibrations Hyde Park Corner and all other M Entertainment distributor outlets.

All you have to do is to read the story of the ‘Star of The Week’ and answer the simple question on the coupon and post it to ‘Star of The Week’, Sunday TV Times (Coupon No 20), No 8, Hunupitiya Cross Road, Colombo 2 on or before 10 December.
