Funday Times - A Poem for the week

Halloween Day

By Jude Shannon Lucian, St. Anthony’s College, Kandy

Do you believe in scary ghosts?
Or blood sucking vampires to the utmost,
Witches and Draculas enjoy themselves most,
As they celebrate Halloween Day as a host.

It’s a day filled with fun,
Dressing a costume that belongs to a scary one,
The Jack O’ Lantern lightens up the night,
And the Halloween cookies are just yummy and right.

So when I’m treated on a Halloween night,
I’m like a knight, not scary at all during the night.
