Match-fixing allegations rock series
The menace of match-fixing reared its ugly head again with media reports claiming that Pakistan cricketers were approached by bookmakers in Colombo during the recently-concluded Test series against Sri Lanka.
 
Taking it in stride
Rearguard action! First time a real incident of that nature got instilled in my head was way back on the 27th of March 1972 on the penultimate day of the third Test between New Zealand and the West Indies at Bridgetown.
