Imperial Institute of Higher Education (IIHE) has been educating and producing world-class business leaders and strategic visionaries, since 1996. During the 14 years of association with the University of Wales, IIHE has established itself as a centre of excellence for providing quality University education opportunities to Sri Lankan students.

University of Wales, validation programme:
The BSc. (Hon.) Business programme conducted at IIHE, is validated by University of Wales, thus making the qualification, certification and acceptance identical to studying in Wales itself.
Industry acceptance:

Throughout the programme, students interact with industry leaders for various projects and assignments. Education vs. Qualification:
At IIHE, the prime objective is to provide quality education opportunities to discerning students. IIHE is extremely particular about pre-qualifications and the maturity levels of prospective students. During the application process prospective students are assessed through interviews. Although IIHE offers exemptions on programmes, the UoW is extremely particular when offering these exemptions to students, compared to most other private institutes. This process ensures that all students are on the same wave length. After all students are reading for Degree and not just another paper qualification.
Best in class panel of lecturers:

According to University of Wales standards, all lectures need to hold a first degree to be eligible for appointment. They are also extensively experienced in their respective industries, which brings a wide range of expertise, exposure and a pragmatic overview to the class rather than making the lectures totally theory oriented. Apart from this, all lecturers are appointed and assessed by the University of Wales and not arbitrarily posted therefore, making the IIHE panel far superior to that of any other institute in Sri Lanka.

Transparent fee schedule:
Any student, at the point of inquiry receives a fee schedule, which indicates every expense which they will need to invest at IIHE. There are no hidden charges or unnecessary expenses. Once registered, he/she will not be subjected to any fee revisions, enabling the student and parents to plan out their finance from beginning to end.

Dissertation:
The BSc.(Hon.) Business, programme from the University of Wales, is probably the ONLY degree programme in Sri Lanka, offered by a private tertiary education provider, where students are expected to complete a dissertation during the final year of the programme. Conducting this research and analysis, is a culmination of what he/she has studied during the 3 years of the programme. This transforms a student into an objective based decision maker, clearly making him/her stand out in the job market.
