Sanjika excels at Meredith College, USA

Sanjika Silva of Meredith College, North Carolina, USA won four awards at a university ceremony recently.

The Meredith International Association award was given to her for her outstanding leadership qualities.

She also won the award for mathematics and mathematic-related fields, in the "Who's who" programme which is a national programme recognizing students who had shown outstanding leadership while securing the Judge Edwin S. Preston Jr. and Dr. Dorothy K Preston Scholarship for Statistics.

An old girl of Musaeus College, Colombo, Sanjika is the only daughter of Mr. Priyantha Silva and Mrs. Sujanthi Silva of Kalubowila.
