CNCI Achievers Awards 2009 for industrial and service excellence was recently launched in Colombo


SLT Chairperson Leisha de Silva Chandrasena handing over the sponsorship symbol to Sunil Liyanage, Deputy Chairman of the CNCI and the Chairman of the Achievers 2009 Organising committee. Others present are (from left) -- Kumara Kandalama, Secretary General/ CEO - CNCI, Preethi Jayawardane, Senior Vice Chairman -CNCI , Sunil Liyanage, Ms Leisha de Silva Chandrasena, Newton Wickramasuriya Chairman - CNCI , Nimal Perera, Past Chairman - CNCI and Senaka Rajapaksa , AGM Marketing , Ceylinco Insurance.

These prestigious awards are being organised by the Ceylon National Chamber of Industries (CNCI) for the 8th consecutive year. Sri Lanka Telecom PLC has come forward as the principal sponsor for the third consecutive year while Ceylinco Insurance, Chemanex and the Bank of Ceylon are other sponsors.
