Protecting migrant workers

Trade unions from Bahrain, Jordan and Kuwait, and their Sri Lankan counterparts came together on Thursday in Colombo to sign a landmark agreement protecting the rights of Sri Lankan migrant workers in these three countries. The initiative came from the ILO with the support of the Sri Lankan government. Here trade union representatives, ILO and government officials pose for a picture soon after signing the agreements.
