Royal make it four in-a-row

Royal led by Bilal Hasan won the Dr. R.L. Hayman Trophy when they beat S. Thomas’ 11- 8 in the second leg of their annual water-polo encounter at the Sugathadasa Swimming Pool yesterday. Royal won the first leg 10-4 a fortnight ago.

Bilal, who also represented the Sri Lanka President’s rugby team against the Asian Dragons earlier in the evening, was adjudged the Most Valuable Player in the contests.

By winning this game Royal has won the annual encounter for four years in-a-row.

Royal won the under 15 game too defeating S. Thomas 11-2 in the first leg and 15-5 in the second leg played yesterday.
