Galle Film Festival:Premiere world showcase for Lankan cinema

Sri Lanka and its cinema industry would receive world’s attention with its first ever international film festival 'Galle Film Festival' (GFF) which is to be opened on March 2009 with the participation of renowned film artistes around the world.

Sanath released screenplay of ‘Sisila Gini Gani’

Award winning actor, producer and director Sanath Gunathilaka recently released the screenplay of his much talked about production ‘Sisila Gini Gani’ (Disappearance) as a book. Story by Sanath himself, the film introduced Prasanna Vithanage to the cinema while Sabeetha Perera came out with an acclaimed performance in her role as a mistress of a politician.
