Indian epic unfolds

Shri Ram, – a dance drama produced and directed by Kalasuri Arunthathy Sri Ranganathan, will be presented by the Aru Sri Art Theatre, at the Kularathne Hall, Ananda College, Colombo 10 on Friday, August 15 at 6.30 p.m. to celebrate the 61st Anniversary of India’s Independence.

The dance drama will present the story of Ramayana – the ancient Indian epic, which narrates a saga of unconditional devotion, heart wrenching separation and blissful reunion.

Kalasuri Arunthathy Sri Ranganathan is well known for her dynamic innovations in music compositions, especially for dance and theatre.
