MAF Musical programme in Moratuwa

Music lovers from Moratuwa will get a long overdue opportunity when the Moratuwa Arts Forum presents 'MAF Musical Band Wagon-I' at the Ranmal Holiday Resort, Moratuwa, on Sunday,Sepetember 9 from 6.30 p.m. onwards.

A star studded galaxy of musical personalities from the Moratuwa Arts Forum will be featured alongside other popular artistes comprising big names such as Sohan Weerasinghe, Mariazelle Gunatilleke, Rukshan Perera and Primal Liyanage. The MAF members featured will be Lincoln de Silva, Chandral Fonseka (Kings), Channa & Dilrukshi Galappathi (Ex- Ebony and Wildfire), Lankika and Chanaka Perera (Golden Chimes), Sureshini Wanigasekera and Estelle Gunesekera (formerly with X'Periments), Eranjan and Viranjan Perera (Super Pink & Purple), Brian Coorey (Ex-Pink & Purple), Merril Fernando (Ex-Amigos Romanticas), Priya Peiris (La Bambas), lvan de Silva (Ex-Pink & Purple), C L Fonseka, Sumangi Perera, Manella Joseph (Winslow Six), Hemaka Fernando, Tilak Perera, Sarath Gunawardana, Nihal Fernando (NiRo), Anuradha Mendis, Delvin &and Lucille Pereira and Lilanthi Jayaratne.

A delightful assortment of pop, country & western, folk and other forms of popular music plus a sing-along session to climax the show is on the cards. 'Super Pink & Purple' led by MAF member Lincoln de Silva will provide the musical backing for the artistes for the show.

A valuable souvenir comprising many popular songs will be given to all participants plus many gifts for the ticket and souvenir draw. Tickets are priced at Rs. 500/-and will be out shortly. Hiran Fernando and Delvin Pereira are the Project Chairmen of this Musical Programme Project
