New unit for Cisco’s Sri Lanka operation

Cisco, the global leader in Internet networking, is setting up a new Rapid Fulfillment Depot (RFD) in Colombo, the company said.

This unit will provide premium support service for customers and partners with 24x7x4 service levels reducing possible network downtime, delivery lead times and costs. Speaking at the opening of the unit, Natarajan Rajkumar, Country Manager, Cisco, Sri Lanka said, “Our enhanced presence in Sri Lanka along with the ramping-up of activities here is in line with Cisco’s strategy to enhance focus and strengthen customer engagements in this region.”

The Sri Lanka country depots represent an important milestone for the Asia Pacific Service Supply Chain Delivery (SSCD) team bringing the total number of depots across the APAC to 103.
